Light

Phalaenopsis need to have light but direct sun light is not recommended. A window with some illumination is perfect for its blooming.

Temperature

For a flowering phalaenopsis in the house, it is better to keep the temperature between 17℃ and 29℃.

Fertilizing

Use fertiliser once every month with your watering. 20-20-20 is commonly found in Garden Centers and are easy to apply.

Reflowering

Once the flower passes away, it is time for the most challenging part: To reflower the plant. For reflowering the plant, cut the spike at the lowest point, closest to the stem. Then, place in a cool area of the house (20-25℃) with enough light and keep watering and fertilising.
